Our client contacted Desks International via the project architect to submit plans for a traditional style library and study space for both pupils and members of staff suitable for this historical boarding school.
Our recommendation was Lustrum a library shelving range made from natural materials suitable for this space. This library consists of Alderwood shelving with matching reading tables in solid lacquered wood finish to facilitate the pupils at this school named the James Joyce Library after world famous writer who was a past pupil.
Shelf lighting and desk lamps for reading have also been provided. Classic style of this library is in keeping with the historical buildings and the tradition and ethos of the setting.
